Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) – Two Topeka men have been jailed for allegedly attempting to steal a local business.
The Topeka Police Department said Damon Hill Jr., 35, and Cameron Hill, 30, both of Topeka, were arrested Sunday morning following a suspected burglary.
Just before 6am on Sunday, October 10th. 2. Officials said they were called to the 400 block of SE 29th Street. There are reports of riots.
When officers arrived, they said they found two people in a fenced area of a local business. From there, police arrested two Hills and registered them with Shawnee. department or correction.
Damon was charged with theft, theft, criminal damage and possession of stolen property. Cameron was charged with burglary, theft and criminal property damage. Both are behind bars and have no listed bonds.
