Yang Ming is committed to developing safer, more efficient and more cost-effective technologies for electric vehicles and energy storage systems through supercapacitors and solid-state battery systems.

Currently, the institute has the capacity to produce batteries with an energy density of 300Wh/kg and is expected to increase it to 350Wh/kg by the end of this year.
In addition, its battery samples passed the industry standard test GBT 31485-2015 “Safety Requirements and Test Methods for Traction Batteries for Electric Vehicles”, which established its performance safety under extrusion, puncture, extreme temperature and short circuit conditions. . Yangming’s supercapacitor battery has a voltage of 3.6v and an energy density of 160Wh/kg. It will be put into production at the end of this month.
