Dallas-based property tax consulting firm Tax Advisory Group (TAG) has hired Zeb Hardy as its chief technology officer.
With over 20 years of technology leadership experience, Hardy will be responsible for overseeing TAG’s technology transformation over the next few years. He has deep expertise in leading teams to bring new software products to market and retrofitting legacy products and systems for cloud environments.
Hardy joins TAG from Trilogy, a comprehensive business platform for software companies, where he served as Product CTO in the DevFactory division for over two years. His responsibilities include defining technology roadmaps and design principles for a range of products.
Before that, he worked for almost two years as Chief Technology Officer at WolfePak Software (now PakEnergy), a business automation software product for the oil and gas industry. Hardy also previously served as Director of Software Development at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, leading the development of the firm’s flagship tax application.
Earlier in his career, Hardy was a senior consultant for Sogeti USA and a technical consultant for IBM.
He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
Marshall Viney, Partner at Skylark Private Equity Partners and Chairman of TAG’s Board of Directors, said: “We know that our ability to expand the depth and breadth of our services over the next three to five years will depend on developing more scalable and functional technology solutions. “We knew we needed a skilled, experienced technologist who understood our strategic vision and had the leadership to support our technology ecosystem to better serve our customers and improve internal capabilities.” I know we found this out in Zeb and we’re delighted he’s on our team!”
