ShopBIPOC was created in response to a call from individuals, businesses and institutions who wish to support BIPOC-owned businesses but do not have access to the central marketplace.So twelve community organizations came together to create the ShopBIPOC platform – an online marketplace where conscientious consumers can shop Colorado Businesses owned by BIPOC.
first, Colorado Consumers will have a new opportunity to invest their dollars in BIPOC entrepreneur-owned businesses on an easily accessible shopping platform.This holiday season, the average American expects to spend $932 Above average when it comes to gifts $837 Last year (Gallup, October 2022). Hispanic entrepreneurs make up 11.1 percent of business owners, according to the U.S. SBA Colorado, BIPOC entrepreneurs accounted for 7.4%. Where is ShopBIPOC Colorado Shoppers can purchase from nearly 200 local BIPOC-owned businesses.

We created ShopBIPOC to connect local BIPOC-owned small businesses to the wider market.”
The platform also supports these entrepreneurs in building and strengthening their digital presence and connecting with new consumers who may not have had access to them before.
