Giving is getting smarter thanks to a Saratoga-based business called Knitt.
Founder and president Lisa Munter came up with the idea five years ago, when she saw the challenges nonprofits and business donors faced when it came to philanthropy.
Monte said she wanted to bridge the philanthropy divide and connect nonprofits and businesses in better ways.
Now, Knitt is helping local organizations in the Capital Region and the Adirondacks, with the goal of eventually making its platform and services available to global organizations.
The team at Munter has spent over a year developing every feature and feature based on the needs of nonprofits and commercial donors.
Now she hopes these connections will have a positive impact on the local community.
