— Valdosta’s newest seafood restaurant, Southern Shores Seafood, at 958 St. Augustine Road. It is co-located with Crystal River Seafood, a former seafood restaurant that closed shortly before the pandemic.
– Another Valdosta business is moving. Rayford’s Famous Biscuit Shop at 2176 N. Ashley St. is preparing to relocate and expand, according to a post on the store’s Facebook page. The post doesn’t give a new location, but a sign at Budd Plaza a few blocks north of the 2900 block of North Ashley Street welcoming Rayford’s “coming soon.”
– Dalton Hart recently opened Stinky Clean, a service that cleans residential and commercial litter boxes. The company uses a custom truck to grab the bin and lift it, pressure wash the exterior and steam clean the interior. New customers can register on the company’s website at www.stinky-clean.com and can contact the company at (229) 234-0661. Hart said the company serves Valdosta, Lake Park, Hahira, Quitman and Ray City.
