The Northeastern Maryland Technology Council has added attorney Kaitlin Corey to its board of directors as secretary to the board and a four-person executive committee member.
Corey is a partner at Goodell, DeVries, Leech & Dann, LLP, Baltimore, focusing on protecting intellectual property, including copyright and trademarks, false advertising, and negotiating commercial transactions and agreements.
Corey is Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Maryland State Bar. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law and has taught trademark and unfair competition law since 2018.
She also serves as General Counsel for the Annapolis Police Foundation and Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee of the American Advertising Federation Baltimore Chapter Board of Directors. Corey was a prolific author with numerous articles published in national and state law journals.
According to the organization’s press release, the Northeast Maryland Technology Council provides expert advice and access to disruptive technologies affecting its members and the region’s revenue, talent and technology pipelines. The committee is based in Havre de Grace.
