The Wellington Historical Society’s Lunch and Learn series will continue on Wednesday 9 September. A programme called “Doing Business in Wellington: Past and Present” was held at the Wellington Community Centre on the 14th and included four long-term community entrepreneurs. The panelists were Gabriel Finnochietti, owner of Gabriel’s Café; Jack Van Dell, owner of Van Dell Jewelers; Steven Shapiro, co-owner of Shapiro Pertnoy Companies; and Lisa Wheelwright, owner of Puppy Love. Chuck Edgar serves as the host.
