Max has over 18 years of experience in the technology sector for start-ups, SMEs and global companies. Based in Taipei, Max has an in-depth understanding of the Taiwan market and extensive experience working with multicultural teams to expand regionally and globally. This, coupled with his expertise in customer service, product management, brand management, sales and business development, and channel management in the region, makes him a perfect fit for the role of General Manager in Taiwan.
Previously, Max was Sales Director Asia at 7Sensing Software, a European startup focused on computer vision and audio solutions. At 7Sensing, Max was responsible for building and managing Asian business development, sales and application engineering teams in Taipei and Shenzhen. Before that, he was Vice President of Sales at CyWee Motion, a leading provider of motion algorithms and solutions for smartphones, wearables and IoT. His other notable work experience is at IBM, Acer and Xplova. In addition to technical and functional experience, Max has extensive experience in building, developing and optimizing teams, raising capital, identifying and handling acquisition opportunities, and building strategic relationships. He received his BS and MS degrees in Engineering from National Chiao Tung University and his MBA from Babson Graduate School, USA.
