Fighting within Caruthersville businesses leads to shooting arrests

Carrouselville, Missouri. (KFVS) – Shooting at a business in Caruthersville leads to arrest.

On Friday, September 30, police were called to the Laura MiniMart on Truman Avenue to investigate reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, officials learned of an altercation between two customers in the store.

Caruthersville police said one of them fired a pistol as the customers walked out.

A male suspect was identified and arrested.

The suspect has been taken to the Pemiscote County Justice Center pending formal charges of illegal use of a weapon, police said.
