UPDATE 3:30 p.m.: For the first time since Quinton went missing, Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley on Monday acknowledged a possible criminal element in the case. Chief Hadley also said police and FBI agents had re-searched the house for any clues. Chatham Fire was called to the home on Monday to start pumping water for the backyard swimming pool. It’s unclear if they’ve found any clues. The WJCL asked Quinton’s mother to make the original 911 call. The county attorney denied the request, citing an ongoing investigation. Chief Hadley said he did not want to compromise the integrity of the case by releasing the audio. “We want to make sure we do it as professionally and professionally as we can, so if — I say if — we have to prosecute anyone in this situation, we’re doing it right,” he said. The documents show Quinton’s grandmother, Billie Jo Howell, tried to remove the child’s mother, Leilani, and her boyfriend, Daniel Youngkin, from the home. “They damaged my property and no one is currently living in peace,” Billie Jo, Leilani’s mother, said in the filing, adding she hoped Leilani and Daniel would leave “as soon as possible.” The documents also show Quinton’s grandparents, Billie Jo and her husband, were the guardians of Quinton and his 3-year-old brother. Quinton was last seen at home around 6am on Wednesday, October 5th.

Quinton’s grandmother, Billie Jo Howell, tried to take the child’s mother, Leilani, and her boyfriend, Daniel Yankin, from their home, documents show.

She added that she wanted Leilani and Daniel to leave “as soon as possible.”
