NC State appeared to be fighting to tie the game, but freshman Toriano Pride Jr. took a pass from Devin Leary at Clemson’s 45-yard line to prepare the Tigers for a potential counter-attack touchdown .
With Clemson sitting on the NC State 28-yard line when the teams switched sides, the Wolves had to stand tall, at least, for Clemson to field a field goal on the drive.
