Maxine Paul has joined the Environmental Consulting team as Director of Business Development at Adelante Consulting.
Prior to joining the Adelante Consulting team, Paul established the Environmental Division in Pueblo at the Santa Ana Department of Natural Resources, where he oversaw new projects in air quality, clearing formerly used defense sites, brownfields, solar planning and climate resilience, Rehabilitated over 1,000 acres and brought in over $3 million in grants and agreements. She is vice chair of the Albuquerque and Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board and helped pass Advanced Clean Vehicle I in New Mexico. She is a former Tribal Representative for the New Mexico Department of Environment Recycling and Illegal Dumping Coalition and a member of the Executive Committee of the National Tribal Air Association.
Paul received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, where she researched remote sensing for carbon sequestration in ecosystems in New Mexico. She has a master’s degree from the University of New Mexico. Paul also holds certifications as HAZWOPER, UXO Tech 1, NMED Composting Facility Operator and Method 9 Visual Emissions Observer.
